Dr Jean Claude Jubert, DO

Dr. Jubert is a board-certified psychiatrist who sees both adults and child/adolescent patients. He has been practicing for 6 years. Dr. Jubert's practice focuses predominately on medication management in conjunction with counseling. He approaches medicine holistically with an emphasis on understanding how a patient’s socioeconomic status, spirituality, social connection and physical health affect their overall mental health and well-being. 

He served as an officer in the Army prior to his medical school training and has expertise in treating military veterans and active service members. He received his medical degree from Campbell University School of Osteopathic Medicine in Raleigh, NC. He completed his psychiatry residency at Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge, LA.

Following residency, he worked in community mental health in Alaska, treating the underserved Alaska Native population. While having experience treating a wide range of mental health disorders, his primary clinical focus has been in treating adult and child/adolescent patients with PTSD, depression, ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorders, OCD, bipolar disorder and anxiety disorders.

During your first visit, We will review your complete medical, psychiatric, psychosocial, and family history. Gathering a thorough medical history is crucial at this initial appointment, as certain conditions—like hyper/hypothyroidism, diabetes, vitamin deficiencies, hypertension, obstructive sleep apnea and anemia—can manifest as psychiatric symptoms. Please ensure you complete the intake forms before the visit so we can maximize our time together. We will work together to formulate an individualized treatment plan.
